seasons change, just like me
friends fall gracefully, just like leaves
the frost reminds me of the hearts
of those that choose to sit in the dark
they say those who matter won’t mind
not exactly the case, but still i find
she cares, but she’s there
she grows with me,
with changes everyone can see
we’ll always grow together
the pine trees standing forever
my childhood memories,
my future’s destiny
until we’re old and grey
that’s how we’ll always stay
we watch friends come and go
“we” being the keyword, we always know
we’re sisters with different bloodlines
…eternally entwining vines

~ Beautiful. I love the imagery and the analogy. You have a talent here. =) I want to see more writing from you in the future, so i will sure be looking out for it. The concept is portrayed very well through this poem. Good word choice as well. — sorry for analyzing it, i really don’t like that part..

We talk all the time about how our friendship is so much more then just a word. So much more then sentences trying to explain to the world how close we are. It can not be described it is just there. It is the true meaning of friendship.
I never have to explain why i am crying you just know. I don’t have to ask for a hug; your arms are always right there. When I am mad you just let me be mad and forgive me when I am rude. You know me better then what I know myself and at times that is the scariest thing of all. I let it be that way though because I know no matter what I am never alone.
I honestly hope that some day everyone has someone like this in their life. That one day no one has to feel alone and that they know that when they feel like they can’t make it, that one person will be there to remind you that you are loved. I want everyone to have a true friend who you become so close to you are family.
“We always grow together and never grow apart and no matter where our roads may lead us we have a place for each other in our hearts.”

Wow Jo…
This poem is great. I wish I had that bond with someone. I thought I did once, then again, and again but the being able to stick togeather like that takes work. I think you guys are incredible. Being through so much as friends and still being there for eachother is hard sometimes. I just wanted to say that it’s an incredible poem and I’m so proud of your friendship and unending care for eachother…

i felt this morning that I had to read this poem again so that I could remind myself that I am not alone. To remind myself that as I am going through this tough time right now you are here.
I thank you so much for coming to my game yesterday. It meant so much and I know that I would not have been able to hold myself together (well as much as I did), if I did not look over and see you and everyone else there for me.
You are amazing and I am happy I have this poem to look at when I think I can’t make it. love you babe!
